We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
Meet 10:30 at Waltham St Lawrence village (Grid Ref SU829769, nearest postcode RG10 0JN). Street parking is available on ‘The Street’ in the centre of the village. A figure-of-eight walk with lunch at the pub in the village or picnic lunch in nearby churchyard. 4 miles in the morning via Pitlands Farm, Knowl Hill (DIY drinks stop with views to Windsor Castle and Ascot racecourse) and Effie's Copse. The afternoon walk takes us to West End and Shottesbrooke Park with a few stiles towards the end before returning to the village.
