The 10.11 train from Ashford (10.08 Staines, 10.16 Feltham.) arrives in Richmond at 10.27. Meet ready for walk off at 10.30 a.m. in Richmond station ticket hall.
A linear walk through Richmond Green to the banks of the Thames before an early morning coffee at the Hollyhock cafe, or DIY in the adjacent gardens. Then ascending to walk through leafy Richmond Park and the Isabella Plantation where Spring flowers should be in full bloom. Afterwards descending through the park to rejoin the Thames and thence to Teddington Lock for a pub lunch, or a choice of one of the many cafe or picnic options in that vicinity. After lunch heading through the High Street to Teddington station for a train home, changing at Twickenham. (Note: ensure you have purchased appropriate tickets.)
