This is a pleasant 10 mile walk from Otley, heading through countryside to Bramhope and up to Otley Chevin for sweeping views of Wharfedale.
We start by walking eastwards along the river before crossing the main road and heading up towards Pool-in-Wharfedale. We will stop for lunch at Pool Bank Quarries before continuing on our way along decent paths to Bramhope. From Bramhope we pass a deer park before eventually reaching Chevin Forest Park where we follow the Dales Way and gain sweeping views of Wharfedale, culminating in the Surprise View on top of the Chevin. From here it's a steep descent down a long set of steps back into Otley.
This walk has around 1500 feet of ascent/descent in total.
