Join us on a 5.5 mile morning walk from Sewerby Hall and Gardens through Bridlington Links Golf Course to Danes Dyke Nature Reserve. We will walk through the wooded reserve and then across fields in to Flamborough. From Flamborough we will walk past the church and down to South Landing beach. We then ascend the steep steps up from South Landing and head back to Sewerby via the cliff top path, with views of Bridlington in the distance.
After the walk, you may wish to join us for a picnic lunch (please bring a packed lunch 🥪) on the cliff top and our social at Sewerby Hall and Gardens to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. Please see the social event page for more details.
🪧 Meet at the ticket booth at the entrance to Sewerby Hall
🅿️ If you are joining us for the social in the afternoon then parking at Sewerby Hall is included in the £13 entry price (just remember to keep hold of your ticket to get in later!)
Otherwise you can park at Sewerby (Picnic) car park at the other end of the village, which costs £3.60 for 3 hours – please allow at least 10 minutes to walk along the cliff-top path to the meeting point
🚻 There are public toilets at Danes Dyke
🍦 We will have a snack stop at South Landing where you can buy ice creams and other goodies
🥾 Danes Dyke can get muddy and is uneven underfoot in places
