For the first part, we will walk to the Upper Lliw Reservoir on a good, wide path. Returning to the café and toilet area, we will have then completed our 4-mile walk, (approximately 2 hours).
Our additional 2-mile (optional) walk will be around the Lower Reservoir (on a walkable but rougher path). Here we will be closer to the water and also see some lovely wood carvings of various animals.
There is a café and toilet at the start of the walks where we can go for refreshments.
Directions:
Leave M4 at J46 (Llangyfelach).
Follow signs north towards Felindre.
Just before the descent into the village, turn right at the brown sign.
After a sharp right-hand bend in the road, turn left.
Follow a long descending access road to the car park.
Make sure you pay and display when you arrive (Card payment only).
