Overview

A pleasant walk from Thurcroft. Mainly off road in fields and woods. Good paths (unless it rains). No stiles but there are a few gentle hills.

Passing through Wickersley woods, Whiston, Morthen and back to Thurcroft.

Packed lunch needed. No pub stop and no café.

Meet on New Orchard Lane,(far end) Thurcroft. From Doncaster leave the M18 at Junction 1 (Hellaby) take the 1st exit off the roundabout and immediately turn right at the traffic lights, onto Cumwell Lane, continue on this road until you reach the mini roundabout at the end then turn left into Thurcroft. Past the Co-Op on the left then turn left and left again onto New Orchard Lane.
