This is a circular walk from Knowle Park, Fair Oak via Crowd Hill, Stoke Park Wood, and West Horton Farm. A very varied walk scenically that is a complete circuit of the outskirts of Fair Oak. A classic of the Thursday walks that are kept to the 5-7 mile range. Explorer Map OL22 - top right hand corner.
Bring refreshment for the mid-morning break in Stoke Park Woods. Meet at the free car park in Knowle Lane, Fair Oak adjacent to the allotments.
Knowle Lane runs from the traffic lights on the Botley Road to the top of the hill going out of the centre of Fair Oak east on Mortimers Lane. The car park is half way along on the NW side signposted "allotments". Not the car park marked on the OS Mapping at the northern end.
