Following the train cancellation on the first attempt, having one more shot before the daffodils disappear. Apologies to Ron S for double booking the date!
Catching the 10.24 Gunnislake train (disruption aside!) from Plymouth(10.27 from Devonport etc) to Bere Ferrers. Following the daffodil trail through bridleways, fields, farms and woods to descend to River Tamar at Gnatham Quay for return along the riverside via the playground to Bere Ferrers Quay . Picnic lunch, great views of the river, stream splashing and daffodils along the way. An optional stop at The Plough Inn before walking back through the village to explore the old station and catch the 15.40 train home.
