This circular walk takes in the high meadows above the captivating village of Turville, with sustained views in all directions across the Turville Valley. The undulating route alternates between woodland and green pastures and holds several surprises, including near the end a medieval church hidden on the edge of the woods, where we will have a quick lunch stop. Please note there are a couple of steep ascents and one step descent were you need to be careful as it can be quite slippery.
There is an optional pub stop at the end of the walk at The Bull and Butcher.
An ideal walk for those with limited time but still want to enjoy the outdoors with this short walk and a slightly earlier start time of 10:00am. Meet outside St Mary the Virgin Church in the centre of Turville. Please park considerately in the village and note we do not have permission to use the pub car park.
Please bring a packed lunch and refreshment. There will be muddy sections so please wear suitable footwear.
