Starting at Dorchester West station, we head towards Poundbury and Maiden Castle Hill Forts. On returning, we visit Maumbury Rings Neolithic Henge and Roman Amphitheatre. We will be walking mainly on paths and tracks. It could be muddy in places. Care needed when crossing busy A35 road.

Most railway stations along the line do not have toilets, including Weymouth, so if needed, it is advisable to use the train toilets before alighting.
