We are the Wessex Wanderers Railway Walks. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An undulating walk starting from Avoncliff and meandering through the Avon and Frome valleys to finish at Freshford. May be muddy underfoot.

Please travel in front carriage to alight at Avoncliff.
We suggest that a return ticket is purchased to the furthest station from your departure station.

Most railway stations along the line do not have toilets including Weymouth. If needed, it is advisable to use the toilets on the train before alighting.

Whilst the walks are risk assessed and may change at short notice if necessary, for your health and safety we recommend that you wear good walking boots/shoes, consider if you need trekking poles, and bring sufficient food/drink for the walk.
