‘Walk for Carolyn’ - This walk is to remember and celebrate the life of our lovely friend and fellow South Wiltshire Rambler, Carolyn Langley, who sadly passed away on New Year’s Day. This walk was one of Carolyn’s favourites, with some spectacular 360 views; it was the first one she led for the group and where she took her family as she settled into Wiltshire. The walk starts and finishes at the Village Hall in Berwick St John, please bring a £1 per car contribution, 11 miles with around 800ft of elevation, heading up and along the Drove, down to Alvediston and West End, with lunch at the church, then a little up before descending back to Berwick where homemade cakes will be served! Everyone is welcome, we hope that Carolyn’s family will join us and there will be an opportunity to lay flowers at one of Carolyn’s favourite spots.
