This is a circular walk starting from the centre of Upham and covering an area to the North, as far as Greenhill Lane. There are some expansive views on route, and varied terrain, with several wooded parts. There is 1 stile and some ups and downs (not surprisingly around Upham), including 1 incline that is a bit steep. Poles will be helpful if you use them. There was no seriously muddy ground on the recce, and most paths were firm.
The Brushmaker’s pub will be open from 10.15, to take your food orders, and the walk will start around 10.30. You will be able to use the pub's toilet facilities. We expect to arrive back at the pub for a well earned drink and meal around 12.45 to 1pm.
Please let the leader know if you plan to come and if you would like to eat so I can give the pub an idea of numbers.
