Overview

A 3.5 mile urban heritage walk from Crookes, the Old Great Dam, Weston Park, Botanical Gardens, General Cemetery and what you see on the way. Finishing at Wetherspoons on Ecclesall Road for Christmas lunch (for those who have booked a place).

Meet at Crookes at 10:15am at the bus stop near junction of Crookes and Duncan Road. Top of the hill stop.

Bus No. 52 from Church St./High St. opposite Cathedral at 9:57. Bus normally fairly frequent including 52a.

Leader, Terry Howard (Tel. 0114 2665438), will meet bus at the Crookes stop.

Easy going, no uphill as it is downhill all the way.
