Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform at Manchester - Oxford Road station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Warrington West station.

Transport to Walk Start: 11:46 train from Manchester - Oxford Road

Suggested Ticket: Warrington West Off Peak Return £11.20

Walk Start: Warrington West Station at 12.25pm

Extra: Please wear suitable footwear for a semi-urban walk. Please use the toilet on the train as there are no toilets at the walk start. There may be opportunity to use some pub toilets about 30 minutes into the walk. Optional drinks at the end of the walk. Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs).:

This a shorter walk which is suitable for beginners. We will be exploring part of Warrington new town dating from the 1970’s where the urban landscape has been described as retro-futuristic. The route also includes the green oasis of Sankey Valley Park
