We are the Tavistock Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting at the National Trust carpark at Wembury Bay we will walk along the coastal footpath towards Warren Point. From there we will head inland and follow footpaths to Down Thomas returning to the coast via Manor Bourne Road. Picking up the coastal footpath again we will return to Wembury. Good views of the Mewstone and Plymouth Sound.
Mostly footpaths some gravel track and minor roads. Most fields are grass although there are some muddy sections on the coastal footpath. There are a number of stiles to negotiate.
The beach cafe should be open at the end of the walk closing at 4pm.

National Trust carpark at Wembury. Parking is free for members but £6.00 for non-members. It is possible to park up by the church if there are no events happening where a £2 donation is expected. (A notice is normally posted at the bottom of the church access road if it cannot be used.)
