Come and explore along the Tarka trail, passing through 'Ruby Country' named after dark red-brown Ruby Red beef cattle on local farms. We pass Parsonage Farm , known from Michael Morpurgo's the War Horse, now known as War Horse Valley Country Park. After reaching Iddesleigh We retrace our steps back to Hatherleigh enjoying wonderful and different views towards the northern slopes of Dartmoor. There is a choice of Hatherleigh Tea rooms, The Tally Ho Inn or The George Pub in Hatherleigh for refreshments at the end of walk if the desire takes you.
