We are the Tavistock Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from Dunnabridge we will walk down to the West Dart to our first set of stepping stones. Soon followed by another set over the River Swincombe and onto Hexworthy. Crossing the West Dart again by bridge will bring us to Brimpts Farm to more stepping stones this time over the East Dart and on to Babeny. To avoid the difficult stepping stones at Laughter Hole we will follow the line of the river to Bellever Bridge and back to Dunnabridge via forest tracks.
Following footpaths and bridleways, some difficult rocky terrain and three sets of stepping stones. Poles or good balance is recommended. There is one very steep downhill that is rocky and needs care to get down.
