A circular walk on Water of Leith Walkway and Union Canal taking in the new Roseburn to Union Canal cycleway connection.
Start at Water of Leith Visitor Centre, take Water of Leith walkway to Roseburn Park, short pavement walk to join start of new walkway on Russel Rd continuing through to Union Canal path opposite Fountain Park. Return along Canal to Water of Leith Visitor Centre with cafe and toilets
7 miles on made surfaces. At end of walk descend flight of steps from canal to Visitor Centre.
Option for walkers at finish of walk to continue on WoL Walkway to exits to Craiglockhart, Colinton, Juniper Green, Currie and Balerno
