After a brief descent and ascent near the start the route takes a fairly flat path through woodland initially and then with lovely views hgh above West Kent Golf Course. We'll turn south to go through the pretty village of Downe and then descend steeply through woodland where Charles Darwin spent many hours. An ascent takes us to Hostye Farm and thence back to the start. Refreshment avaiable at The Blacksmith's Arms.
A couple of fairly steep descents and ascents.
Well behaved dogs welcome.
NB: the car park at Cudham is inside the London ULEZ. £12.50 if you have a polluting vehicle!
