Overview

A fairly challenging, off-road walk around Chequers with steep ascents and descents, some stiles, fabulous views, woodland and grassland, including a Nature Reserve. We will stop for short breaks at the tops of Pulpit Hill, Beacon Hill and Coombe Hill, and have lunch at Buckmoorend farm shop where hot and cold food and drinks are available for purchase as well as eating a packed lunch. We will stop at The Plough at Cadsden for an afternoon drink, before returning to Whiteleaf Hill.

500M ascent approx.

Please wear appropriate footwear, especially if it has been wet previously. Poles recommended.

If you wish to miss the pub stop and return to the carpark earlier you are free to do so.

Well behaved dogs welcome.
