Overview

Linear walk follows parts of the Crab and Winkle Way which follows the railway opened in 1830 and closed in 1952. We cross the Campus of the University and descend into Canterbury. Coffee at Blean Church, lunch in butterfly park by the river in Canterbury. Reasonably flat – no stiles. Traces of the historic old railway route. Time for shopping in Canterbury Christmas Market at the end.
