Overview

Meet 10:30am at the larger of the two car parks at Maidenhead Thicket (Explorer 172 SU857809, nearest postcode SL6 4GL). Leave the A404(M) at exit 9B, take the third exit at the roundabout, and at the next roundabout turn left into Henley Road to find the car park.

A figure-of-eight walk around Maidenhead Thicket, Pinkney's Green and Littlewick Green. Anyone can leave the walk after 4.5 miles as we pass the car park on the way to Littlewick Green. DIY drinks stop at a National Trust site: The Brick and Tile Works. Lunch stop at Littlewick Green, where there is a choice of pub lunch at 'The Cricketers' or picnic lunch on the benches around the picturesque green.

If you would like to join this walk, please text or call the walk leader by early evening on the day before and let me know if you want to eat in the pub.
