An evening wander up to Wildmoor Heath exploring the many paths within this nature reserve and surrounding heathlands.

Advance booking is not required, but if you plan on attending this walk, please indicate this on Meetup if you can (see Website link), so others can see that there will be plenty of people going.

Walk details

The walk heads out through Sandhurst before joining Thibet Road. We'll pass the many large houses on this road before we head into Wildmoor Heath.

The walk then heads up the wooden boards walkway through open wetland and heathland habitats.

We will continue around the edge of the nature reserve before a short climb up Broadmoor Hill which has nice views over the Blackwater Valley.

The walk then loops back down through Wildmoor Heath and back into Sandhurst.

By public transport

From Reading take the 18:21 train to Gatwick Airport, which arrives Sandhurst at 18:39.

By car

No parking is available at the station but surrounding residential streets allow on street parking.
