Overview

An easy walk around Slough and Eton visiting places which have connections with the Astronomer, William Herschel. We will see places where he lived and worked. The walk is on good paths. We will return to Upton Court Park to change shoes and collect our lunch before the AGM.

Meet by the Scout Hut at the far end of the free Upton Court car park, Upton Court Road. If coming by public transport, local buses 3, A4, 7, 81, 702, 703 all stop at Sainsbury's. It's a short walk down Lascelles Road past Upton Court school to Upton Court Park.
