Overview

A walk around the monuments at Runnymede and return along the river Thames. Refreshments in the National Trust Cafe at the end of the walk. Bring a drink. The walk is fairly flat but could be muddy after rain. There are no stiles. This is a joint walk with Slough U3A.

Meet in the National Trust car park next to the Magna Carta Tea Rooms, Windsor Road, Englefield Green. The car park is free for National Trust members otherwise £4.50 for 2-3 hours. The Slough to Staines bus no 8 stops by the bells of Ousley which is a short 5-minute walk from the start of the walk. There are toilets in the car park.
