We are the Ramblers Northampton. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Circular walk of about 12.5 miles. You can park by Winwick Hall at north of the village. From there we will walk to Honey Hill, onward to the Hemplow Hills and then to Thornby Hall via Cold Ashby for refreshments at the World Peace Cafe. Afterwards return to Winwick which is about 3 miles.
Some of the paths around Honey Hill are steep and sticks may be helpful.
Overall climb is about 960 feet.
The post code takes you to the centre of the village. Drive through the village where there is a small parking area for ramblers which will be the start point. It is also possible to park during the week in the area marked Polo Pavilion which is over the cattle grid.
