A delightful circular walk starting in Sywell. We'll be walking to the picturesque village of Mears Ashby and, if the church is open, taking a look at their famous Doom painting. Then we'll be walking across field paths towards Sywell Country park. There will be wonderful views of the reservoir as we approach. We'll have time for a break at the Sywell Country Park cafe before making our way back along the reservoir path.
We'll be starting at The Horseshoe pub in Sywell. There is parking available at the pub for those wishing to have a meal or drink after the walk. There is also plenty of on road parking available. From Sywell we'll be walking across established paths to Mears Ashby and on to Sywell country park where we will be stopping for a short break. Refreshments and toilet facilities are available here. The walk will be on established paths and will include a couple of stiles.
