Overview

An Autumn walk through woods that takes us to Ide Hill without some of the steep ascents of other routes. The walk will enjoy all the colours of autumn as we see woodland shedding leaves. Starting from the car park in Dryhill Country Park we head south east towards Dibden before entering Mill Bank Wood. We continue our walk passing through Sheephill Wood before joining the Greensand Way to Ide Hill where we will have our picnic lunch on the green. The Community shop and the pub  both sell food and drinks.

The return journey is largely across open countryside with lovely views.

The walk is likely to be muddy so appropriate footwear is recommended.

Please bring a picnic
