Overview

A not too taxing walk from Ide Hill to Bough Beech Reservoir taking in the views from Hanging Bank and Boarhill before we drop down from Yorkshill and then through Bore Place to the Bough Beech Causeway. After crossing the reservoir we go through what was the Visitor's Centre where we may stop briefly to look for the resident kingfisher.

We will go on to Henden Manor where we will peer over the hedge to admire the 15th Century Manor House, once owned by Henry VIII and later the Boleyns.  From here our path takes us uphill back to Ide Hill where those who wish may stop for refreshments at the Cock.

The route will be predominantly on all weather paths and lanes but as always in the winter in the countryside there will be sections which will be muddy and so please come prepared for them.
