Linear walk to Sandling: a moderately paced, undulating 13 mile walk, most of the route follows the escarpment of the North Downs with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside, and over coast and sea in the afternoon. We pass the Wye Crown Memorial, the Devil's Kneading Trough, the Brabourne Downs, Stowting, Farthing Common and Tolsford Hill, before descending to Sandling. The route is the reverse of a Saturday Walker's Club walk, Sandling to Wye, which can be found on their website if desired.
