We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Leaving Moorgate south on the west side of Hawnby Hill to Manor Farm. West through Nags Head Wood on the south side of Coomb Hill . Continuing west on Arden Bank to reach Hambleton Street/Cleveland Way. Go north for 500m and turn east to Thorodale Woods to reach Mount Pleasant farm. South through Half Moon Plantation and turn east to Hill End House then north to Moorgate.
Steep descent, poles would be advantageous.
All walkers, (members & guests) are required to carry ICE (In case of emergency) documentation.
