Overview

Join us every Friday at Harrow Recreation Ground for theHarrow Rec Walk and Talk. An invigorating morning walk supported by the Harrow Recreation Ground Users Association, perfect for those who want a gentle weekly activity. 

Take a gentle 30-minute walk along the park's accessible paved paths, guided by our cheerful Harrow Health Walks volunteers. You can walk at your own pace and rest on benches along the way, starting at the Seva Cafe.

It is best to arrive 10 minutes early as the walks leave promptly. Walk volunteers usually wear a hi-vis vest or backpack so that they are easily identifiable.  

If it's your first ever walk with the Harrow Health Walks, you will need to complete a walker registration form. You can sign up and fill in our form ahead of time on www.harrow.gov.uk/walk

Meet in front of the Seva café, Harrow Recreation Ground. How to get there: Bus- H14 to Hindes Road bus stop either way. 5 minute walk to meeting point via Hindes Road entrance (HA1 1RS) or car park off Roxborough Road (HA1 1PB) 183, H18 and H19 to Neptune Road bus stop either way. Nearest entrance on Pinner Road (HA1 1RR) Train- Nearest station Harrow on the Hill Underground station on the Metropolitan Line. Take the buses above from Harrow Bus Station. Alternatively, a 15-minute walk to the meeting point through the Roxborough Road Alleyway entrance (HA1 1PA).
