Overview

Are you free on Tuesday afternoons? Why not join us for a short, sociable, walk in the Pitsmoor area? Pitsmoor is perhaps not the first place you'd think of to walk because it is a built-up residential part of the city. However, Abbeyfield Park is a little green oasis. Better still it is a great starting point for walks in nearby green spaces including Roe Woods, Earl Marshall Recreation area and Burngreave Cemetery. We offer a choice of two walks each week. You can either take a short stroll around Abbeyfield Park, or a longer walk, at a brisker pace, in one of the local green-spaces. The short walk is suitable for prams, buggies and wheelchairs or mobility scooters. We all meet up after our walk inside Abbeyfield House for a chat and a brew.
