Overview

Come and along and join this weekly walk in Halesowen on Thursday’s mornings meeting at 9:45am for a 10am start and finishing around 11am. The walk meeting point is at the Royal Oak pub car park (B62 8PZ). There are bus stops located on either side of the road for buses 002, 9 and 14. The pub car park can be used to park for the walk if needed.

The walk route has short sections on road but is mostly on paths in the Leasowes Nature Reserve.  It is a circular walk which provides great views of different parts of the Leasowes including pools, streams and cascades. The paths are a mixture of stone and some parts can get muddy so please wear suitable footwear. They are also some sections of incline/decline and narrow parts so it would not be a suitable route for wheelchairs or pushchairs.

The walk will last for around 1 hour, for a distance of roughly 2 miles and at pace to suit all.  Afterwards you are welcome to stay and join others for a hot or cold drink in the pub.
