Overview

Join Stag Walkers for an afternoon watching Macbeth at The Living Theatre in Whitwell. This open air performance space in rolling Hertfordshire countryside will be a wonderful setting to watch one of Shakespeare’s biggest tragedies.

In the classic tale of fate, deceit and power, three witches prophesy that Macbeth will become king, leading to murder, treachery and madness.

Watch the trailer at https://www.thelivingtheatrewhitwell.org/macbeth/

This is an outdoor performance so please come dressed for the weather, including appropriate footwear to access the theatre by rural footpath.

Food will be available from Dan’s Pizza Van.

Before the play, you are welcome to join us for a short afternoon walk around Whitwell, St Paul’s Walden and the local countryside - please see our separate walk event page for details of the walk.

Location

The Living Theatre, Whitwell, Hitchin SG4 8BP. Parking is situated on Waterhall Farm car park just off the B651. On Google Maps follow directions to Acer Barns Studio, SG4 8AF.

The play starts at 4pm so we’ll aim to meet at the theatre space at around 3.30pm.
