We will head from the car park along the leat to Leather Tor bridge, then up to Crazywell Pool. From there we follow Devonport leat to Older bridge, and on to Hingston stone row, Combeshead tor and Sheeps Tor. From there, on to the bluebell wood, the village of Meavy and a final climb to the car park.
Although this is a moderate moorland walk, there are a couple of steep ascents, some rough and boggy ground, a few stiles and stream crossings. The tracks may be muddy at this time of year. On a clear day there will be some fantastic views of South Dartmoor and beyond.
