👣 Hike Description:
Embarking on a 4-5hr trek through Leigh Woods, under Clifton Suspension Bridge and up alongside the River Avon Trail.
With this trek we'll have several picturesque views including some small waterfalls, the underside of Clifton Suspension Bridge and the woodland trail in Leigh Woods.
At approx 10miles there is the opportunity to split and head back to the car park for those wishing an earlier wrap. Otherwise it'll be onward for another 45-60mins for a short extension simply exploring the woodland some more.
Please bring a packed lunch, plenty of fluids and if we're set for a good forecast, suncream.

* There are no public toilets on route. Please plan accordingly.
* There is a small cafe at the car park should last minute supplies be needed.
* Difficulty defined as mild. Save for the odd incline this shouldn't pose any severity for anyone.
* The lunch stop will be at approx 7miles (roughly midday).
🚕 Parking
* Leigh Woods Parking (BS8 3QA)
* £5.50 all day parking. The machines run via RingGo and do not take cash. Please also download the app prior to your attendance.
* Lift Sharing is advised both for parking charges and parking spaces; the car park is sizeable, but 20-30 individual cars might make it tight.
* Leigh Woods Membership includes free parking. Despite Leigh Woods being a National Trust location, this car park is not covered by National Trust Membership.

Dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy walking boots are highly recommended for your comfort and safety.

Dogs are not permitted on this walk, except for registered assistance dogs. If you have any concerns about route suitability, please consult with the walk leader beforehand.
