👣 Hike Description:

Embarking on a 5-6hr trek through the Wye Valley, offering stunning views and diverse terrain as we go. There will be a lunch stop somewhere in Chepstow about half way into the route.
We'll be meeting outside the Abbey itself, although migrating from one of several parking spots. Look for a group of folks with backpacks and boots.

Expect woodland trails, mild scrambling, open fields, paved roads and dirt tracks. Don't miss the scenic descent down the windy steps from the Eagles Nest viewpoint either.

The hike is expected to conclude around 4:30-5pm, with options for post-hike refreshments from the numerous pubs scattered around Tintern.
