We are the Gloucestershire Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from Stamages Lane car park in Painswick, the walk descends down Stamages Lane before climbing up towards Pitchcombe and on to Haresfield Beacon. We return to Painswick mainly following the Cotswold Way. There are several ascents and descents on this walk with breathtaking views, particularly around Haresfield Beacon where we will stop for lunch.
Meeting point: Stamages Lane car park, Painswick. This is free on Sundays. 9.45 a.m. for a 10.00 a.m. start.

The Ramblers
This walk is organized by members of Ramblers and is free to join. Consider becoming a member after a few enjoyable walks with us. Membership gives you access to a wide range of walks across the UK, provides assistance with outdoor activity skills, and helps keep public footpaths open.
Attire and Footwear: Dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy walking boots are highly recommended. Walking poles may be useful for the steeper sections.
