Overview

This walk will be very leisurely around the 107 acre Wilton Lodge Park.  The Park has many features which include a War Memorial & Museum, wood carvings, formal gardens & fountains, wishing well, waterfall and statues to Steve Hislop, Bill McLaren and Jimmie Guthrie.  En route we will have a drink stop and wander around the walled garden.  After that we continue to the end of the park via the Boer War monument and returning alongside the River Teviot passing the award winning Pump Track and the Bandstand to reach the park cafe for a stop.  There is outside seating, so bring your own refreshments or else you can buy from the cafe.  From the cafe it's a short walk back to the start alongside the River Teviot.
