  1. Start at Rissington Road Car Park in Bourton on the Water.
  2. Head towards the center of Bourton on the Water, passing through the picturesque streets and crossing the River Windrush.
  3. Follow the footpath towards Lower Slaughter, enjoying the scenic Cotswold countryside along the way.
  4. Arrive at Lower Slaughter, a quintessential Cotswold village known for its 18th-century mill. Take some time to explore the village.
  5. Continue on the footpath to Upper Slaughter, another charming village with traditional Cotswold architecture.
  6. Pause for a break ☕ and consider stopping at a local pub in either Upper or Lower Slaughter for a hot drink.
  7. Follow the circular route back to Bourton on the Water, taking a different path to experience more of the rural scenery.
