Join us for an invigorating 8-mile exploration through Hockley Hill and the scenic Severn Vale!

📍 Starting Point: The Pilot Inn, Hardwicke GL2 4QD
(Park at the bottom of the car park, furthest from the pub. Lift sharing encouraged.)

• Climb Hockley Hill for breath-taking views over Gloucester.
• Traverse through Hockley Wood and explore the Severn Way.
• Enjoy picturesque views of the Severn Vale and Forest of Dean.
• Muddy trails and wet terrains, so bring your walking boots!
• Pack a delicious lunch to keep you energized.

🚶‍♂️ Route:

1. Cross the canal and ascend Hockley Hill.
2. Wander through Hockley Wood towards the Severn.
3. Follow the Severn Way for stunning riverside scenery.
4. Head back cross-country, re-climbing Hockley Hill.
5. Stroll along the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal to The Pilot.

🌧️ Weather Precautions:
Be prepared for muddy and wet conditions. Dress accordingly.

🚗 Parking and Carpooling:
Park at the designated area at The Pilot. Please encourage lift sharing.

🍻 Post-Walk Relaxation:
Conclude the adventure with a well-deserved drink at The Pilot Inn.
