Brisk morning walk on pretty paths. We pass a duck pond with open views and walk beside the stream at Shere. We will have a late refreshment stop in Shere village where there are toilets and shops to purchase take away drinks if you don't want to bring your own. 315 ft ascent.

Albury Heath Cricket Ground CP. Follow New Rd S from A248; CP is on R at junction with Park Rd. Car park can be busy because the cricket ground is used by sports clubs on a Saturday morning. There are alternative places to park on the further side of the playing field if needed.
