Overview

Stretch your legs on this 8 mile walk on the South Downs, heading up from Amberley and then eastwards towards Kithurst Hill. Enjoy the far reaching views south to the coast, and northwards to Pulborough Brooks. We shall follow sections of the South Downs Way and then circle southwards towards Burpham with a few ups and downs. Bring sustenance for coffee stop and early lunch break if wanted.

There is a delightful tea room in Amberley where we could have refreshments (cream tea or cake) after the walk.

Those wanting to make a day of the outing could go on to visit Arundel in the afternoon.

It is about a 45 minute drive from MV so you might wish to car share. Please contact walk leader if you wish to register your interest in offering or receiving a lift.
