Overview

Moderately paced 9 mile North Thameside walk to Greenwich, then through the tunnel and into Greenwich Park. 

Route: paralleling the North Bank of the Thames, the walk circles the Tower of London and weaves through St Katherine’s Dock, Spirit Quay, and Shadwell Basin to Limehouse. It then continues via Canary Wharf passing numerous docks and skyscrapers to Mudshute Park. We then cross to Greenwich via the foot tunnel and complete a circuit of the park.

Lunch stop at Canary Wharf cafés or bring own food.

Drop out at Canary Wharf.

Meet at Aldgate Station (Zone 1 - Metropolitan & Circle lines) - at 10.30.

Ticket/Fare: Oyster/Contactless/Freedom Pass.

Finish:  Cutty Sark Station (Zone 3 - DLR) at about 3:00pm.
