From the car park at All Stretton we head up The Batch, past Cross Dyke to take a path climbing to the top of Pole Bank, We descend via Townbrook, taking a path across to Cardingmill Valley for cafe & facilities before returning via tracks parallel to the road back to All Stretton.
This is a Moderate walk - there is 1400ft of climb but it is generally not steep.
Good boots are recommended along with warm & waterproof clothing.
A packed lunch and hot drink is essential.
NT car park on The Batch, All Stretton. Turn by the sign to the village hall. CP is a little further along the lane.
