A figure of eight loop walk on the outskirts of and through parts of Shrewsbury through countryside, nature reserves and disused railway line routes. As this is late March, there should be signs of spring. There is a partial viewpoint of an open cast stone quarry en-route.
The route can be muddy in places, especially after rain.

Top left hand corner of the Meole Brace Park & Ride, away from the bus stop. N.B. Check with other walkers assembling here to ensure that they are Telford & East Shropshire Ramblers as Shrewsbury ramblers and U3A walking groups also meet here. This is the start point of the walk.
