We are the Alton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A route through Chawton and onward to Four Marks, returning through Chawton Park Wood.
The walk starts and finishes at Alton Sports Centre, and is part of the Alton Walking Festival programme.
The route is a mix of fields, country lanes and woodland. It includes stretches of St Swithun's Way and the Writers' Way. There are a couple of stiles.

There is an option to leave the walk after 4 miles in Four Marks and return to the start by No 64 bus. You must let the walk leader know before leaving the walk.
