Overview

A demanding walk that will take us up and over the South Downs to such little visited villages as Charlton and Singleton with hopefully fabulous views from the Trundle towards Goodwood Racecourse and Chichester itself. Eventually the bucolic River Lavant leads us to the historic Roman cathedral city and journey's end.

Pub stop but bring a packed lunch.

650m total ascent.
